Mulloway over here in the west. Awesome fish. Wonderful to eat too. Over Easter I had a Goldilocks night for them. 4x 1-1.5 metre mulloway in the one evening. Awesome times. Thank you for the awesome content. You really do a great job of presenting this channel. Can't wait to see it really take off.

That's pretty cool to see people catching different kinds of fish than we do here in the States. The fish we call "jew fish" go by Goliath grouper as well, but only once they get past a certain size. What you are calling Tyler or taylor, I can't tell because of your accent lol, look like blue fish here. Those would have been small to medium blues, as they can get to 60lbs or 25+-kilos., so they're probably a different species. Awesome video none the less.
@capncayenne70112 жыл бұрын
Same species, they can get that big here but not common. We call them Tailor.

Hey mate literally just found your channel and done a bit of binge watching haha seems like you've actually got a fair amount of knowledge and sharing it too so good stuff mate 👍 I used to go to a spot at sandon just south of Yamba, and the fishing was incredible, still to this day caught my biggest flatty off the beach there and biggest snapper offshore. I used to do a heap off Port Stephens too. I've only ever caught soapys, one like you got is a goal. A bloke I knew years ago got one at Newcastle around 40kg, was fuckin huge. 👌 keep up the good work mate 👍

Nev congrat great vidio, nev I have question for you, 1)what is the advantage of use a long rod for fishing and 2)if a rod say lure weight 5-25oz and line weight 6-12 pound, it means I can use 20-30 pound braided fising line in my reel Without break the rod?, thanks🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
@NevsFishing4 жыл бұрын
Cheers mate!! The advantage of using a long rod is that it helps with casting and this helps with land based fishing. And you can snap almost any rod if you use it incorrectly.👌🤙

@@NevsFishing hey Nev just recieved my first leaves lure what rod would you recommend to cast this lure for beach or river mullys
@NevsFishing4 жыл бұрын
@@BeachBuoyHey mate the rod I was using for casting these jew lures was a Daiwa Aird X 1202 HFS. Affordable rod but easily did the job off the stones!
@toddmillar40412 жыл бұрын
A bit late for a question on this video but I never saw it when it came out. I'm guessing you are casting in and retrieving along the gutter? If so is the bite better when the foam washes over? I think I know a similar place and would like to give it a go. It's nice to know the tailor still take the big lures it means less thinking about lure size

No one will ever tell you. Just like the rest of us you have to put in the time and effort to find where they are. They move around a lot, so one wall may fish better than another 30 mins apart. Just keep casting
