Habemus Papam! White smoke, finally. Great job! And then all the plumbing you did. I'm impressed. Next time I need a handyman, I will give you a call😉

Thanks Michiel. It been quite a couple of weeks, but it is so good to get it finished successfully. I will have to think about my new potential career as international handyman :-) ;-)

Thanks Jeannie. Yes it is great to get it completed at last... just in time for the weather to warm up (although this is Britain - I'm sure we have some chilly days still ahead of us! ;-)

Hells teeth man you got A LOT done!!! Yeh, I was surprised by how easy it was to cut a flue hole with the jigsaw. Drilling holes, not so much!

Oh that was a real slog - but very satisfied to get completed. Good to hear I’m not the only one who hates drilling holes in metal 😀

do you need to or are you going to wrap the copper pipe from the rear of the stove? I would think all copper pipe would need insulation on a boat more so than even PVC pipe. What do you think?

Hi DEmma. You are psychic :-) I spent this morning adding some insulation to the pipes. The rear part of the run, where the pipes are exposed, however I'm not insulating and indeed I'm hoping they sort of act as radiators themselves and there is some 'linear warmth; as it were.
