This fire pit is one of a few covered pits that is on the list kzbin.infoUgkxAU9pOCSV9Y5JprooHvfxTpOrt4hx8uRM of approved products for Disney Fort Wilderness. The product served its purpose well and provided excellent fires throughout the evening. We were able to open the door and do s'mores, but I had to be careful because the handle was a bit hot on occasions. Additionally, I wish they had replaced some of the standard nuts with lock nuts in some places. We lost the door handle after just a couple of days of usage. Not a deal breaker, just a recommendation. I still give it 5 stars.

We are a chimney sweeping family company that's been working since 1964 ( know of any longer than that? ) anyway your video is outstanding. I just wish all so called professional stove installers were as good as you. I could tell you many ridiculous stories mainly involving ripping the customers off. Keep up the good work.

Hello Shedfan Thanks for your kind comments. This all started buy me inspecting a stove fitted by a person who saw video's on youtube. After seeing what is out there I thought someone needed to try and keep people safer then what I had seen. The rest in history as they say. As you know some people will fit their own stoves, its going to happen. I just want them to try and understand whats involved and help them be safer in their endeavours. The next thing is getting people to understand the quality of the products they use. Anyway that's my preaching for today. :) Thank you again for your kind thoughts. Ps: were are you based? uBuyuDo.com we are based in Co Durham. Traditional chimney sweeps that have customers all over Durham and surrounding areas. Started by my father now retired and now run by two of his sons. However we are thinking of installing stoves and flu liners simply because we know what any specific chimney needs and most importantly how it needs to be swept. Many are fire hazards because they are installed wrong. Your videos will help keep people safe so thanks and well done.

@@shedfan chimney fires are also caused by the media people choose to burn, ie damp timber and coals, plastics etc. I have seen chimney fires and they can have devastating effects. To see shall we say master tradesmen at work is uplifting. So to you your sweeps and Paul stay safe and keep up the good work.😊

Top bloke and and what an excellent video, I am a Building Surveyor and would have no problems recommending viewing as a good introduction to the why's and wherefore of fitting a multi fuel stove. I would stop short of encouraging unqualified people to carry out working at heights but this was eluded to in the video - the rest of it should easily be accomplished by a suitably competent amateur but as always - safety first!! Well done!

Excellent video. I've had murder getting someone to fit a stove for me at a fair price so I decided I would undergo the work myself as the scaffolding has to come down. I'll be attempting it on Tuesday with a 904/904 liner for a multi-fuel stove. I've got ten years experience in the building game and having watched this video I'm confident that I'll be able to install the stove to a professional standard. Thanks you very much.

You are brilliant. A natural teacher/instructor. One of, if not the best, I have seen/heard. I know now, I cannot do this at my age. I was looking to fit a burner into my now empty fireplace, with the exit pipes going roughly only a few feet into the chimney, where my heater/boiler pipe used to be a few years ago. Nothing up to the roof. Only the actual chimney walls to the bird pot. I'm done now, if the laws prevent that. But I thoroughly enjoyed watching YOUR skills and chuckling personality. Please live long and prosper.

Weel done mate - in the trade myself - use exaclty the same techniques re the liner - same tools - most of the clips I see along these lines are bollocks but you are spot on - only thing I would add is have the bgloves over your wrists - use the anti cut gloves and I tend to have a high collar top - been cut on the wrist and just off the artery on the neck before - had a year or so of figuring out howe to do it all on my own and ended up with lots of fun little scars

I did the grips method to unravel the liner some years ago, cut both my hands open as the grip slipped down along the piece I was pulling. My other hand was holding the loose bit out of the way and got cut too - A&E glued all the flaps back together. I ended up going back to it (after having my hands bandaged for a week) and using long nose pilers and rolling it back like opening a sardine/corned beef tin and cutting it off with snips once the bundle was big. Much safer. I was wearing the same gloves too and they did nothing as expected.

Hello Zedonepilot Firstly thank you for your kind comments and yeas it you subscribe to our channel there are more good tips on keeping you safe. If you are thinking of getting a stove fitted I would recommend starting with a registered chimney sweep to sweep and inspect the chimney. here's a link to the Nation Association of Chimney Sweeps, just put in your post code at the top of the page and go from there. Make shore you get the height of the chimney placed on the certificate of sweeping, you may need that at a later date. nacs.org.uk/ You can perches the lining kits from ourselves and get your local Hetas engineers to undertake the installation. Just click on the links on the top right of this video and check out our prices. Here's a link to Hetas, again just pop in your post code and go from there. www.hetas.co.uk/find-installer/ Good luck in getting it done. Kind Regards Paul Ross

hey mr if you cut reg plate bracket for front and sides in one piece and trim and bend you end up with three in one reg plate bracket which can be fixed as you know from both sides and fit rear bracket as needed. we tried using an angle drill to fit bracket into arch but failed so we found this was best and then fill from top over arch making good ? sounds mad to most but youll know """ good video Dagsie, fellow installer
@kitsandham70013 жыл бұрын
Yeah I do that, then Tek screw the plate up, then slide an angle up the front gap (visible below) and push up it to the wall before Tek screwing in, easier than fire cementing. Nice to spray the plate and pipe to match the stove too.
