Jaby, As a malayali myself and film enthusiast ,it took me 18 years to understand the greatness of Mohanlal. While watching loads of Mohanlal movies as well as other movies of different language during my young age, I always felt that he is not that great in acting as good as other actors, and as I was growing up , and spending a lot of sleepless research for finding out who is the greatest actor across the world, slowly I realized that he wasn't just acting but was behaving ( which I believe a great actor should be capable of) . Still I am not aware of all his 300+ , but as I have watched his major hits and career best movies I can feel the charm and talent he has in him. And no one gets to know the talent he has in him ,by watching just a couple of movies . Also he lack good looks in the industry, but the beauty in his acting is what made people follow him. If you seriously doubt his acting skills. Please watch a few movies with subtitile, ( humans all over the world have similar emotions and expressions, just the medium differs) Kireedom Devasuram Iruvar Vanaprastham Thanmatra Bhramaram Yodha( especially because I know you love fights and stunts) Jaby I am your hardcore follower , almost watched all your reactions and love listening your logical reasoning for the reactions. ***During my college days I wondered why weren't you aware of a man called Mohanlal exist., finally I am happy to see you react to him*** Love you Jaby🥰🥰 I request you , please like the comment if you have seen this Jaby.. 😇😇

He is the finest actor Ive seen. Me personally with acting as my passion, my aim is to achieve that outstanding level of effortlessness on screen like him. Mohanalal is not a trained actor, but a gifted actor. Like some people are gifted in studies, he is gifted in his Acting ability, it just comes to him. Sad that still many Indians still don't know about Mohanlal. It's not their fault as well. It's just that Bollywood dominates the majority of India, and for some strange reason, I don't know why Mohanlal is never offered a good Bollywood movie, or probably he refuses to do so. Now I've watched *Drishyam* in 3 versions (Malayalam, Tamil & Hindi) and there's this one scene in the end where the husband of the female cop asks whether their son is alive or not - The reaction which the Hero gives to this question without literally answering it, that expression that look those eyes. That scene right there defined what a grand actor Mohanlal is.... I didn't get that feeling that impact from either Kamal Haasan (a great actor) or from Ajay Devgan. Now I know it's unfair to compare Ajay Devgan with someone like Mohanlal because Mohanlal is just in a different league altogether.

There are many actors who has the same walk, the same body language, the same sound modulation and still convinces the character played. With Mohanlal, you will find it hard to convince yourself that it's acting. You will only know/remember the character, not Mohanlal. There is a popular saying in Kerala about Mohanlal, that he can even act using his Nails and Hair. You know how Malayalees are, we are highly critical of everyone. We watch Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Korean movies. Have recently been watching Kannada movies too. If we hear there's a good movie in Bengali or Marathi or Assamese, we go for it. And as much as we enjoy it, we also discuss and give criticism. We don't even spare our Superstars. And that's why we love our Superstars- Lalettan , "the complete actor" and Mammookka, who enjoys equal stardom with far less arrows in his quiver.
