So true. Malayalam movies in general made me realize that rest of the industries deal with a lot of over acting when in real life there are no such overblown out of proportion emotional scenes... Malayalam cinema transformed a lot with Mammootty and Mohanlal to be honest. Before that there were all the same, dramatic nuances everywhere. At present some of our commercial movies are adopting Tamil and Telugu influences in fight scenes and song sequences. Hope they won't do that in every film because then there is no uniqueness.. tamilians are good with action and songs so be it. Malayalam is good with natural acting, and strong content.

@Sushant Rajput With all due respect, You say you are Big B Sir's fan, yet you haven't paid attention to the movies or the roles that he essays. Amitabh Bachchan Sir acted with actresses half his age or younger from a long time ago. Egs are Sooryavansham with the late Soundarya ji, Rani Mukherjee ji in Black, In Nishabdh with a teenager etc(not saying the dearly departed actress's name out of respect to the lady n her family because of the fuss created by media) . Most or maybe all the lead actors in any industry have (There is a trend of seeing Superstars with younger actresses n it still exists ) That fact alone should not stop actors from working with each other and the actors can recommend folks yes, but it's mostly up to the director 's or casting director n his team' s choice(even though there are filmmakers who love using the same co stars for a type of cinema or if they are a hit jodi for a while.) This is a tribute to a tremendous actor (on his 60th birthday) with the most amazing acting skills ever and who has done a great body of awe inspiring work to earn the 'title' of the 'Complete actor'. Whether you agree or not, this is not the place to bring up something like this. No one is perfect but this is something that you should take up with the casting team or the filmmakers behind the casting. FYI.. Sometimes it works n sometimes it doesn't but that is reflected in the movie itself and shouldn't be something that you randomly say about an established actor with regard to his work.

He do one film and dedicate to that character for 6 months to one year atleast .. But Mohanlal is not like that he can do any character without any changes.. Any preparations.. Nothing but with Perfection.. That same time he may doing many movies with different characters.. That's the difference between method actor and a born actor.. Like Sachin and dravid.. Sachin is born cricketer and why dravid great is his continues ly dedication and practice..
