Low cost housing is one of the things that make the Philippines an attractive place to live. A small bedroom in a house would cost you around $100 or less here. Have a wonderful my brother! Take care and God bless.

I think it is also a steal at that price! Fully furnished and no long term commitment. If you don’t like it after living there for 2 months; you can move out. Nothing to bring but your suitcase. When it’s your turn and Marie’s; we will find you one my brother. I am exercising and eating well to get my health back! Take care our friends. We love you both!

A good deal, but the only AC is in one bedroom. I would absolutely need AC in at least the living room.

It would be easy enough to buy one of those portable AC units with wheels that you can roll around to which ever room you need it. They are becoming popular here in the Philippines. You just have to watch your electricity bill; electricity is expensive here.

I don’t have a video of the studio apartment at Camella Aklan; I will keep an eye out when one comes available for rent. It would be around $200 a month for fully furnished. My American friend rents a 2-bedroom fully furnished apartment that even includes complimentary maid service for $220 a month in Kalibo, Aklan (3 miles away from our house at Camella Aklan). The black stuff is algae; we get it when it rains so much during rainy season. You can power wash it off. It also dries out during sunny days and can be easily swept off. Thank you for your prayers my friend!

Lol!!!! my guess is right. Foreigners will still complain about that price. Only Hobo's will complain about that price.......that's fully furnished and in a gated community with amenities. Probably you can find a $150/mo rent in a village with lots of noisy neighbors.

The beach is 3 miles away. The capital of Aklan province, Kalibo, is also 3 miles away.

Kalibo Cable provides fiber optics internet service to Camella Aklan. You just have to request Kalibo Cable to turn the internet/cable TV on. Some residents have satellite dishes if you prefer satellite instead of cable TV. We only have internet at our house at Camella Aklan; we pay $25 a month for our internet.

Camella Aklan is located in Aklan province in western Visayas in the Philippines. Aklan is known for Boracay Island; which is only about a 1-hour drive from this house. Aklan is also known for the Ati-Atihan festival in January each year in Kalibo, Aklan. The mother of all festivals in the Philippines. Kalibo is a 10-minute drive from this house. The beach is also only a 10-minute drive from this house.
