I always find it funny listening to podcasts when it comes to Philly You replaced your 3rd option in Tobias who in games Embiid missed couldn't step up putting all the burden on Maxey with Paul George You replace Paul Reed who's best quality was being a quality offensive rebounder per 36 in history with Drummond who might be top 3 all-time in rebounding in general and he has more size The big loss was Batum with his size and versatility and replaced him with Caleb Martin who also has had games in the playoffs where he rose to the occasion like Josh Hart when left open The rest of the depth is fair but it's not worse than last year AND Unlike Boston and Milwaukee, they have the ability to make a trade to address an issue with KJ Martin, picks + and a coach in Nick Nurse. Giving him more options only helps the issue is they need a trade deadline trade to address something. Also don't sleep on Ricky Council or young guys taking a leap. Council is like a young Oubre as more of a slasher but has Oubre and NOW George as mentors

I'd just say the raptors are unproven. so the view point is warranted. but if they didnt have the freak injuries to jakob and scottie and blatant tanking, they wouldve finished higher than they did. we didnt see the potential they had (jakob missed a lot of games then followed scottie post trade deadline) and the payrolls gonna increase so those deals wont be as bad right now.
