Very cool bike! I'm wanting to get an Ebike one day. TIP for everyone - if you cut zip ties right at the head where the strap goes in, you still have a good zip tie you can reuse another time. Just a little smaller depending on how tight the first zip is.

I suck at assembly too. I always prefer a video. I'm still not sure which e-bike to get. It's fall in Idaho, and winter will be here in about 6 weeks. Maybe I can find a Black Friday deal.
@watchmanonthewall14Ай бұрын
Remember that e-batteries don't like extreme cold and will lose lots of range in the cold. Hope you find what you're looking for.

As is happens Daniel, I'm on the lookout for an ebike! My son just gone one and it was LOVE at first ride! Gonna definitely checkout that model you have there and a couple more I have in mind. Smells like an early Christmas lol... Great video!!!

I just got an ebike recently as well that was a cheaper one too thos tires they come with the back one will be worn out by 200 miles you can rotate them cuz the front tire doesnt wear down as fast but max 400 miles outta the stock tires then the bottom bracket on mine went out and had to replace it also the pedals came loose but other tham that its been pretty solid also make sure to get them foam tire inserts for it so you dont pop the tires mine popped first day and then it was a fix a flat nightmare lol
@wyatthines153Ай бұрын
O also take the reflectors off the wheels they cause them to be unbalanced
@watchmanonthewall14Ай бұрын
In two years, I've put 6,000 miles on mine. Replaced the chain and the battery, recently, but I'm still on the original tires. No flats.

@@wyatthines153 It's a hybrid city bike. Single gear, 750 W motor. My average speed is 19 mph. I vigorously pedal 85% of my rides. I coast only down hills. By the way, I'm a senior. I'm in average shape, but I've ridden bikes for decades, so my muscles are built and trained for cycling. I LOVE cycling.

@@watchmanonthewall14 thats awesome im in nevada and we have goatheads everywhere thats why my tires popped but also my back tire was bald at 170 miles i do ride offroad in the desert quite a bit but my bike just had some cheap parts on it lol the new tires i got ive gone like 300 miles on so far and theyre still brand new but i will say the foam inserts in the tire stopped a nail from popping my tire it went in like an inch but went at an angle and kept the tire from popping they are well worth the money i think

Awesome bike! Especially for a guy like me that's got a degenerated left hip and I'm saving up to get stem cells for it right now, but that would be a great bike for me cuz I don't have to pedal because right now I can't, and I can't take my Harley street bike on those trails so that would be a great bike for me right now. The only thing is you got me spending so much money on knives the last few months I can't afford the bike right now but eventually I will purchase it after I get my stem cells done, stem cells are not cheap. But once I get them done I'll be able to pedal a bike again, and I'm talking about my stationary bike that sits in front of my tv. But that e-bike is a must on my list of future purchases for those back trails where I don't feel like pedaling. Thanks for sharing one that is actually affordable for a 1000 bucks, much better priced than 5,000 like some of these other ones I've seen around town.

Being a former mountain biker for over 20 years it's hard for me to get on board with an e-bike. I think for me, the dual sport bikes are more appealing. I see so many on the FSR roads and I like how you can load them down with gear.

I have often wondered what you guys would think about these
@forestadventureswithscott8777Ай бұрын
@@411Outdoors the guy on my favorite KZbin channel Foresty Forest has one. He does a lot of mountaineering in the Canadian Rockies and uses his e-bike to get closer to the trailhead that his van can't reach. In that scenario it makes good sense. But for trail riding or even road biking I think I'd still prefer the human engine!

These are very important for being prepared. Get an affordable battery with a turbine and solar panel then bam youve got a way to charge it even in economic collapse.

Good and honest as usual ❤ These bikes are the future and needs to be included in the survival books especially after they get saddlebags and stuff, ride as far away from city or wherever you are in a jiffy, be in safe haven ❤ Keep showing more young Grasshopper it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas 😂
