John Twist inspects the 1968 Midget's body & undercarriage for rust and perforations, plus previous body work, welding, and repairs. It's important to know the true condition and integrity of the body while doing a restoration.

When it's time for repainting, John says red is the most expensive paint color. Black is the most difficult to get a smooth finish because it shows every flaw. White cars hide flaws in the metal but get dirty quickly.

John I asked a question about Bearing shims. Well I found the answer. Abington Spares. The web site said just shim. Well I ordered it and it’s a kit. 6-7 shims. But thanks for all the great videos

Great video as usual John. So, after the undercarriage is blasted, what products would you use on the frame bare metal to paint/finish it and protect it from the elements for the life of the vehicle?

John thank you. Although this is not a question about this video. Its about front wheel bearings. Where do I get spacers. Moss doesn’t carry them or EBay. They weren’t on the car I’m working on didn’t have any. Any help would be appreciated
