You should have a poster made of that opening shot freeze frame. Ya. Very cool.... plenty of room for a bit of print but... either bneath the shot or above it but the shot should remain as is... fantastic.

Yup Dan what you mentioned about the air lines moving them to the back... that's easy peasy but the problem guys run into is the coiled lines will rip or break in winter when your in tight situations.. so I ran mine to the back and used all straight rubber airlines and straight electrical lines from the truck to the trailer .. I wish I could somehow send you pictures ..
@holdencolonycarriers9817

Also the fact that there coiled and bulky they tend you collect all snow and get ice packed and heavy .. shot me an email I'll send you pictures of my setup .. I'm not saying I have the best but it hasn't let me down either .

Love the opening shot there Dan, very beautiful often times opening in a small town can be of great benefit to a company. If the town can support the labor requirements then the lower cost of living means they can pay lower wages and the community is happy to have them there. If the company is cool about it it can be a win win situation.

👍 video I'm glad small town factories are still up and coming back,Mann in the 80''s/90's they were dropping like flies and Communities ruined because main Company was the backbone for the others and they were first to go overseas,wild part most were build for 48ft trailers so you learn how to drive at these customers,but glad they are recovering,maybe not what they wanted but they have income

Hi friend, have just happened accross this video, and enjoyed it,thanks. And in regard to those air lines being like they are, and where they are,please move them to the back of your tractors chassis real soon like. Other wise they will trip you up sooner or later. God Bless, John.

Light, small loads like that can be a nuisance because they have no weight to hold them down and stop them bouncing which loosens the straps/chains etc. I feel your pain 👍. On the plus side it costs little on fuel to pull them. Keep doing what you’re doing 👍

I downloaded that loves app on my phone, and I use it when I get to the pumps, and use the pay feature when I get fuel. Never have to swipe cards, set pump up from the driver seat, in the ac... how lazy is that?? But it works great at about 90% of the loves... depends on phone service. Handy little app...

Hay Dan I did a screenshot of video @ 14.41 . I noticed the last strap on your load is ahead of the lumber. Perhaps an additional strap or that one should be behind the lumber so the timber doesn't vibrate / walk itself out from under the load. I know you would hate to have that happen and hurt someone. Just an idea. Drive safe.

i hate little towns, cause most aren't equipped to handle 53 ft trailers on corners, etc. if you take highway 30 E in PA, you're screwed if you miss your exit to a shipper/receiver. you have to go miles to find a decent place to turn around. did that once, it's why i always hated Pa.

I've been doing this 40 years now, and I was never a fan of airlines and light cord under the trailer. It's really only because it makes it a pain when you have to interchange equipment. I can see that it causes a tripping hazard though. All my trailers have some kind of bulkhead though so I never climb that way

Even back in the 80s loved my lift axle( front) dump valve ( rear) from in the cab. Nice sneaking on ohio turnpike few classes cheaper. Lol. They got smart and listened for air so we ran big propane tanks to get exhaust air...truck looked like a centipede.
