Would you mind saying what weight leather you used for this and whether it was veg tan that you dyed and finished, or chrome tan? I think it was veg tan but the dyeing is so well done! Also I haven't been able to skive chrome tan by hand, only veg tan.

I'm not sure what you mean by 1:55. The chemical used for 4:19 is the leather backing and single-sided finish. The name is called "tokonole".

큰 선생님,,, 늘 감사 합니다. 참 이쁜 작업 입니다. 근데 선생님 이런 질문 올려도 될런지 모르겠습니다. 전 늘 궁금한 것이 이렇게 마찌(?)라고 하나요? 옆면을 만들어 붙이잖아요? 이럴때 그 길이를 어떤 부분에 기준을 잡아서 해야 하는지 궁금 합니다. 앞판을 보면 타원의 절단면(외경)이 있고, 스티치는 조금 안으로 가게 될 것이니 스티치의 길이는 좀 작게 되지 않을까? 생각이 되는데... 그냥 외경의 길이에 맞추면 되는 것인지? 아님 스티치의 길이에 맞추면 되는 것인지요. 다시 감사 드리고요. 행복한 하루 되십시오.

말씀하신 재료는 얇은 나일론 제질의 접착식 보강테이프 입니다. 이 보강 테이프는 가죽공예를 하시다 보면 상당히 많이 사용하게 됩니다. 스냅단추, 핸들 그리고 보강이 필요한 여러곳에요.. 이것을 사용하는 이유는 얇은 가죽의 보강으로 사용하게 됩니다.
