How is that possible? I don't think you're wearing a weight belt. Is it possible to free fall as soon as you dive in to the pool? Did you let out all your breath before going in?

I wondered if he had lead in his speedos. He gives one or two flutter kicks and one haphazard dolphin kick, but that certainly doesn't explain it. I would imagine lungs empty for sure.

С детства на реках, озёрах, море (кмс в СА за год взял), везде по разному .. на озере 150-200 м под водой легко, на речке по течению больше , но в глубину незнаю , максимум может 25-30 м нырял без груза с прочим и дальше никак от боли в ушах (может чем уши затыкают, да и зачем такой риск, когда организм говорит реагирует такой болью?? ))

It's Freshwater and has less buoyancy than saltwater. plus only half inhale so less air in the lungs. then the jump plus streamline position to overcome the bit of buoyancy he got.
