Malcolm, Thanks for the help. I bought my son's first car, which is a 72 beetle. It's a electrical nightmare. When I bought it, it ran. It sat for ~3 months. So charged the battery and still nothing. I couldn't get to it fast enough for my son. So, him and a friend of his started to try and figure it out. After 8 hours of fiddling with it. They gave up. So, I'm left with wires everywhere. Thank you for your video. It helped me and now the car is onb the road. Thanks again....Good Work.

I am going to do a total restore on 71 Super Beetle and am disabled and need a project don't want to sit around and die..This video Sir gives me hope. Thank you Sir for taking the time to do this love to watch it over and over. First thing going buy is a label maker to mark each wire and relays and other..I am having my best friends grandson help me so I can teach him like my good friend Gordy helped and taught me when I was young. I told the kid Brennen he can help me as long as when he's older he teaches a kid. So we keep Bugs in our hearts and on the road Thank you from the bottom of my heart Malcolm...

hello i am watching your videos i am finding them extremely informative , Thank you for sharing them , my problem is .I am having issue with my ignition from the battery to the starter it drops from 12.52 two 7.45 causing a low voltage start any ideas on what could be causing this i have been using a voltage meter to try to trace the issue down .i have a 1971 super beetle
