The reef looks so natural. The woodwork would have been the most intimidating part to me, for sure! You did great. I too have hoarded materials like that wood. It always sucks when it comes time to move my rock collection 😊

can't wait to see this tank with animals in it!!! how long will it take after you add the salt?

As soon as the salt content is in the correct range I will start by adding some sand and rocks to seed bacteria, microfauna, and algae. Once I see the glass crawling with copepods I will introduce a couple of fish from the running system and a few small corals. I am estimating 2-6months for the tank to be at the point where it can be fully connected into the running system.
