I’m older than you, so for my age group Goldeneye on N64 was THE GAME. Fun single player and great multiplayer. Back then the graphics seemed sick but if you tried today it would be basically unplayable.

Agreed - everyone I knew played Goldeneye. Anytime since the 90s that someone has brought up that they have it (especially on the original N64), everyone gets super excited to play. Nostalgia yes, but also a legitimately fun game!

@@blackholeinacan I feel like it holds up surprisingly well because of how the shooting and aiming works. The controller really doesn't make the game feel like ass to play, and it becomes very fun as a casual shooter to play with friends, even today.

Just so you know, there is a fan-made port of GoldenEye called GoldenEye Source that you can play today still, although I believe it's only the multiplayer modes.

1:12 *ayo!* no shade towards anime! Cat ears are awesome! 😼 7:46 how would you solve the conflict of having 8 marines in a medivac when +3 finishes? If they would die it would feel unjustified. If they all unload instantly you could abuse it as a timing attack to quicker unload them in the enemy base as soon as you hit +3. If all 8 marines would stay in the medivac but once unloaded only 6 can be loaded again it would force a meta, where you load up all your medivacs before hitting +3.

The second game was interesting, I think it did favor SHIN because of how delayed Byuns tech was, but Byun got ahead economically from his opener. SHIN just didnt capitalize on the tech deficit, he shouldve probably ravager allined if he scouted the 3rd cc earlier.

At 1:26:20 the 2nd game of herO vs Bunny, the tank was actually rallied to the ramp, but it couldnt path in between the factory and the addon on the barracks so it went around next to the cliff. The depots to the right would also block him if he rallied the other way. So due to the building positioning the tank was guaranteed to die if there were stalkers on the low ground. Back to practice vs AI for Bunny.

As a huge MaxPax fan, but total pleb, I'm curious how you perceive his strategy. As you said, and I don't think anyone can really disagree, he's almost certainly the best defender against agressive strategies in the the world. That said, his absolute insistence of opening greedy is no doubt a big part of why he's so good at defending; out of necessity, essentially. Considering his overall record, it's hard for me to fault him for it. Yet, I still have this nagging feeling that he could be even better if he was a little less predictable. What say you, Cap'n?
