I was thinking about buying this 42082 set because of the crane. I saw the B model and wasn't that excited about it but I was still thinking about buying this set. Now when I saw this C and D models made out of this set, I can't wait for the tomorrow morning to buy this set and get building these alternate models. yes it is possible, you have to change the beam and pivot point to adapt and change the 24t clutch for 24 gear if the weight of the bucket is too big :)

How robust are the mechanics? The GAZ truck MOC had a few weaknesses, with gears coming off too easily inside the gearboxes during operation.

It is robust for me, I have not problem on gear coming off on the 42082 E model, if so I would have changed it. But this one as no gear which can fall.

Nice build! Should have been the B model, but then you gotta build something else with all the leftover pieces. Two questions, can it lift a good amount of weight? And why have that one set of gears double clutched?

Thanks ! I have chosen to put clutch gear on the both creation to prevent people wanted to lift heavy weigh, which may cause damage inside. You can try removing the clutch and replace by standard 24t but at your own risk after when plyaing.

@Nico71 I've built this model and experienced, that the 2 actuators which lift the boom are getting stuck, respectively have almost no power. I've no clue what caused this problem, maybe you know some solution? It's very frustrating.

Hello, I think the most likely is that you do not mount correclty the gearing for each linear actuator. If you disconnect the linear actuator from the boom you will see if it goes down or up. Of course, both have to go up or down in same time. Watc carefully the instructions. Tell me if it is that, and if not we will investigate more.

@@Nico71FrThe DAMN linear actuators weren't exactly in the same position. That's the problem. Thanks a lot! Now I can go on and modify the fork. It's too smooth and with the angle I'm not 100% happy. Apart from this a very, very nice model! I will soon proceed to your 42082 D model. I'm so excited!

Oui cela peut paraître cher, c'est moins cher que ce qui se pratique couramment mais au déla de ça, il y a aussi une notice gratuite sous forme de photo tout à fait lisible pour monter le modèle. Le choix de payer permet juste de choisir de me soutenir et d'avoir en retour une prestation plus qualitative :)

Les pro sont similaires à celle que fait lego, çad étapes par étapes des rendus 3D avec liste des pièces à chaque étape. Les instructions gratuites sont sous forme de photo de montage pris dans l'ordre :)

Une notice de cette qualité non, un fichier 3d oui, que tu pourras envoyer à d'autre (qui auront aussi le logiciel) et qui pourront regarder. Mais concretement sur LDD il n'y a pas toutes les pièces et certain montage sont interdit. Le combo ldcad + Lpub3D pour la notice reste le plus performant et complet, mais pas facile à prendre en main. Je te conseillerais de commencer sur ldcad et de suivre un tuto. Et ensuite regarder commet créer une notice ou simplement échanger le fichier 3D créer avec ldcad.
