The instructions are 700 pages long. This offers you an assembly experience as long as the original set, for a fraction of the price of the set. If you bought the set, you certainly have some € to buy the instructions and double the play time. I don't think you will work for free, so yes, the instructions are for sale, which contributes to producing this kind of creations and instructions.

What you heard is the internal clutch of the linear actuator so no need to put an other.

Thanks for the comment ! I use 2697 parts on the 4056 of the original set, so approax 66% (which seems low despite that the model is big !)

wow! fantastic! it is not possible to compare the E and D model with the "A" model. "A" model from originaly Lego was good for the present time, Lego creates and sells models. But your D and E model really kick it hard out of the race! I run out of space and get in really trouble now with all this Lego I have here. But these D and E models would be really worth to build and add them to the collection! Amazing!

I have run out of gearing and space to put in the chassis for a front winch (and the rope can not pass through the turntable for a boom winch).

The 8t can't fall since it's on a axle with "stop", but the 24t can

I takes the part and try to build, I usaually start by the most difficult parts of the project, it could be the bodywork, or the chassis or something else (here was the lack or red parts for this project), and after having a rough building, I dismantle it to improve it. then I make the building instructions.

Than the B model maybe, but nowhere near A. The A model was one of the greater sets Lego has ever released and pretty much worth the price tag. This is great, don't get me wrong, but the A model is better.

@@TechnicDragon I sort all the part of the original sets and started building in real. I always started by the more sensible parts in the project, not necessary the most difficult. For this one, I started by validated the design and crane in red because the inventory was limited, and then I work on the functions.

I would like but the problem is the extendable boom and tilting control of the fork. I have only one motor in this set and no slidding gear and long axle so I can not compensate the tilt of the fork with the raising of the boom, I have try with the string but it is too elastic for.precice control. An other possibility would be to make a reach stacker which is let in place by gravity instead.

I do not think it is upgraded, as said in the article and the comment, it is a smaller modified version with different boom regarding the parts and fixed hook. the 8258 crane is a must in construction, recheable position so it is always a good start !
