Its ALL about environment, from start to finish. Keep temps and humidity in check, and dry slow. Personally I dry trim, and I feel I get better flavor, because it doesnt damage live tissue. Also I cure in gallon size cookie jars. IDK, there might be better tricks but it works for me, and my friends always say my bud tastes crazy good.

@@BlockchainMoney87 14 days hanging then trim to the jar and burp the jar at least 10 min every day for 2 weeks min, your drying room wants to be cool and 60% humidity all the way through as well because terps start to evaporate at 25° I keep it 16° to 18° all the way

A side by side study in a lab showed that optional temp and humidity is 68 degrees and 54 humidity and amounted to a 16% difference in terpine loss vs 60/60 meaning you lose 16% less terpines throughout the curing process.

My hubby and I just put ours in an airtight container in the fridge! And he just takes em out like long enough to reach room temp then soaks em for 24 hours in some water-peroxide mix then straight into the soil, and has had great results! That has been our experience. Good luck growing

Mimosa orange from Barney's farm is peng, Comercial growers in the UK hate orange flavors don't know why but trust me it's really nice plant to grow for beginners and it smells on the old school cheese levels

out of all the strains i grew outdoor my first grow, the seeds were just from buds(random no name) i had one strain labeled as i got it from a Lemon Kush Headband nug and when i grew this can i just say i knew the genetics were good when i could smell those pure lemon, pepper, Kush smells off the plant i was impressed smell in jar even louder with sweet lemon perfume smell! and i didn't do much in terms of nutes etc, what I'm saying is listen to 420scene man genetics #1, it prob matters the most even being a new grower it can help you get way better quality buds, I've grown a decent amount of random stuff not always worth the work!(def can be good if you pull a seed off a good strain though don't hesitate to try as well, also label the random seed with the strain you pulled it from is always nice to know so you don't need to label unknown#1 etc... and can have a better idea of what strain it is.)

420 Scene I just harvested my Godfather OG and smoked it last night OMG the "high, high" lasted 2 whole entire hours and drifted to lala land for 30 minutes. Everyone who sampled it said the exact same result. As soon as you stand, she gives you an incredible rush, you're tripping 2.5 hours, caution: A$$ kicker no joke, not recommended for beginner tokers.

I'm growing Granddaddy Purple by ILGM and normally I keep my temperature at 74', this batch I tried turning my light up and next morning main cola leaves started burning, I dropped light back down immediately and it's doing just fine solid nuggets. Harvest in 2 weeks, just waiting on 3% amber. Personally for me I have to find that perfect temperature and perfect brightness of the light.

1 of 3 Godfather's main stem snapped, it split a good 3 inch, I repaired and taped it back with duct tape. I had to give it an extra 3 weeks to harvest, that particular GF took 3 weeks longer for trichomes to ripen. It's all good chopping tomorrow.

I been buying seeds from ILGM and I get 100% germination, if for some reason 1 didn't sprout it was my fault. I'm not here to promote any company, I'm just sharing information from my experience. I've grown Bruce Banner, Godfather OG, GDP and Apple Fritter, I love each one because the high was different but all incredible ❤ If you have problems with germination they will replace free.

Bodhi Seeds hashplant Og hybrids. There will be some “muted” hashplant dominant phenotypes, but there will also be incredibly stinky, volatile OG phenotypes that are amazing. The muted hashplant phenotypes will be like, full on pain killers/sleepy time, the og dominant ones will be strong, and have a more social type indica effect. To get more smells, and flavors, and make them last more, keep the grow cool, and CO2 enriched, keep the sulfur content of the soil or reservoir a little higher. Use UV supplemental light as directed. DO NOT USE GENERAL HYDROPONICS LIQUID FERTILIZERS. They have the taste of unfiltered river water that’s downstream from an industrial waste pipe. Because their factory is literally pumping in unfiltered river water, and there are other factories just up stream dumping thier waste into the river.

Your nutrients and or soil make the biggest difference in taste and brix levels. 15% brix indoor is great 22% brix outdoors is so so for outdoor. Higher brix levels make better taste and more potent smoke. Not bro science real science. And you can taste your brix levels before and after flush. I do the opposite in soil and withhold water at harvest. Let the plant pull the sugars from its leaves. It does up the brix levels.

Last year I dumped a can of pink salon in every hole (3 holes) then covered them with about 3 inches of leaf mold, then finished off with some miracle grow potting soil. I watered several time by filling a 5 gallon bucket with cedar wood shavings that you buy for gerbil cages and letting them steep for 24 hours I also had an aphid problem so I mixed up some Neem oil in water and fed it to the roots. The Neem did nothing for the aphids The moral of the story? My buds tasted heavily of leaf mold and number 2 pencil shavings with hints of dead fish and Neem. don't put anything in your soil that stinks smells or taste like shit. This year they're getting Black Cherry Koolaid and Lemon Lime Koolaid.

Genetics definitely helps with terp retention and flavor retention for example I had a GDP from ilgm no flavor no purple tasting anything it was just you know but then I got blimburn purple lemonade and boy does it smell like lemons no purple but man is it good and then the white label Gorilla Glue that I got is really good too the purple lemonade is a white label but it's was labeled blimburn. strawberry banana has a good taste just something was off but it was still good.
