The cost of wood has doubled around me in the last few years. I have seen up to $80 for a face cord of Oak and usually about $60 a face cord for Ash. Crazy inflation if you ask me.

I don’t understand it either, fuel is not that much more, guessing it’s a supply game with fewer folks seeing the value in producing firewood. My splitter is slow and I could never make real money is the firewood business

I’ve thought about doing this before. I’ve even thought about getting an outdoor wood furnace. Then I realized I hate cutting wood and I didn’t want to do it every winter. 😂
