Interesting. Are these Tories more likely to live in the country, and that's why they like nature analogies? I don't know much about the political system there, and my ancestors stopped being Tories sometime before July of 1776 lol... :)

Very interesting question - yes, historically the Conservative party has had more voting support from rural areas, and less in the cities. The Brexit vote showed a similar spread, ie more people voting to Leave, who lived in non-urban locations.
