42RE Install Part 1

In this video I go over the process to install the 42RE version of the 518 Mopar transmission as found in the 1996-1998 versions of the 4.0 ZJ.
Similar in general to the 46RH and 44RE this transmission is the version found in the 2WD models.

Filling and installing the Torque converter
Moving the Transmission into place
The Alignment bolts
The Torque converter bolts

I always just chuck my torque converter on . Never had a problem

My torque converter is only lining up with 3 of the 4 bolts the 4th bolt has an X above the hole where it won't go in??? Please enlighten me
