As a Nebraska Football fan, him and Sun are 2 of the very, very few bright moments for the team in the last 20 years. Suh had the monstrous year in ‘09. Then David came to the Huskers as a JUCO player the following year. I still daydream and wonder what could have happened in ‘09 if we had David on that team.

@@Dknight2818 not even close? he had 932 yds last year, which is basically the same as one of cook's two 1000 yd seasons... and his lowest YPC ever was 4.6 LMAO. now do TDs. the only reason he doesnt have 1000 yd seasons is because they split the work between multiple backs. instead, he spends time destroying in special teams to return kicks (although they have eased him out of that now), and acting as a wide receiver. no other player is basically the entire offense in a team. i'm saying this as a neutral guy who hates the saints.

As a lifelong Bucs fan it's great that Lavonte is finally getting the shine he deserves! When the Bucs drafted him out of Nebraska there were so many experts who doubted him. "He was too short, lack the proper weight to play linebacker and wasn't a sure tackler". Ever since he put on a Bucs jersey he proved everybody who doubted him wrong! Proud of him and he is definitely one of the best Buc players in history. Along with Mike Evans.

I know every player on this list is getting the "underrated comment" but talk about a guy that has been elite since he came into the league in 2012 and has never been given his due. 1 All Pro and 1 Pro Bowl is an insult. Among active players he is 1st in solo tackles, 2nd in combined tackles, and 8th in tackles for loss (1st as a 4-3 LB, which is more impressive considering everyone above him is either a D-Lineman or 3-4 pash rush LB).
