How did you taken e_{n-1}/e_{n}1, Because in every iteration error decreases i.e. in comparison to nth iteration (n+1)th iteration is more accurate.As a result numerically e_{n-1}>e_{n}. Can you please expalian whether my intution is wrong or what?

i think hmko current approximate root ka difference lena hai original root se so En=| r - Cn| , En+1 = |r - Cn+1| mod lya kuki either side of root ho skta hai last root En = b-a/2^n , En+1 = b-a/2^n+1 so prportional ajayega vaha se

Sir, we know rate of convergence of bisection method is 1/2 and here it comes 1, which one is true??

k=1 here is the order of convergence. En+1/En = 1/2 which means at each step error is half of the previous step

bisection method converges linearly (K=1) with an asymptotic rate of convergence (A)=1/2

Rate of convergence nahi ye Order of convergence hai. Aur Secant and Regula Falsi ka Order of convergence same nahi hota. Secant ka 1.62 hota hai aur Regula Falsi ka 1.

Bro en is bigger than en-1 so when you divide smaller no with large number than it's less than 1 & near to zero eg 1/100 ~ 0.01. So we can neglect this when it's compared to 1. I hope it's helpful!
