When buying a unit, make sure you check the age of the unit. Ask your broker about the impact of depreciation costs on the overall price. Make sure you get the First Home Buyers Scheme, if eligible. The downside of unit = ongoing strata fees. If you can live further away from the city, consider buying a house instead of unit. Units are great as investment property due to tax deductions but costly if you live there. Just a few tips. Good luck!

Haus na lang kung kaya ng budget. No strata and ibang gastos. Mas tumataas ang value and malaya la sa anumang improvement na gusto mo gawin

Avoid that area. Maybe try parramatta although a bit dearer but at least safer.

Mahirap mangutang sa Australia kung di sapat ang earnings nyong pareho. Una kina calculate ng banko kung ilang taon kana, hanggang mag retire kayo ng asawa mo at magkaano ang cost of living nyo. Isa din ang mga utang sasakyan etc, kaya mahirap pag dika marunong kulang at di sapat ang kinikita di aapprobahan basta ng banko.

Mas ok dito boss, expected nila aabot mga tao 70+ kahit mid 40s na ako na approve pa rin sa 30 yr house loan... pero tama ka dapat kaya nh sahod ang pang hulog kaya wag mag car loan malaki effect nun.

wag ka bibili ng apartment d tataas ang value masyado, ung ate ko bumili ng bahay 10yrs ago $550K sa Bungarribee brandnew naun ang value $1.3M. Ung friend namin 8 yrs ago bumili apartment $480K, may nagpatayo na bagong apartment sa tapat lang nila $550K brandnew so gang 500K lang ung value ng apartment nila, bakit ka bibili ng 480K na apartment e sa tapat mo bago 550K.

Sobrang mahal niyan mate almost half mil… konti na lang puwede ka ng bumili ng bahay pero I consider mo rin yung stamp duty kasi ng bumili kami $520k stamp duty namin ay over $18k

Not all in Merrylands ay magulo , we live in an area in Merrylands so peaceful and quiet now the value of our house is 1.4m which we bought 7yrs ago 980 thousand. Good luck to the vlogger ganyan lang konti tiis we been there struggle from the start pero pasasaan magiging stable kayo.
