430HP Ford Focus RS Wolf Racing - Acceleration with Backfiring Sound!

This time I have filmed a Wolf Racing Ford Focus RS 400 Stage 2 equipped with Milltek Non resonated cat back exhaust racing on a closed airfield against other cars. Wolf Racing upgrades the 2.5 five-cylinder turbocharged engine up to 430HP and 580Nm! Although the fact is that the RS is for a while on the market, it sounds pretty good! Especially with an aftermarket exhaust system like Milltek, Mongoose, Mountune or Wolf Racing!
Modifications on this Ford Focus RS:

-WOLF / DREXXLER Sperdiff
-WOLF / H&R Coilovers
-WOLF footrest
-WOLF hand brake

Dave Johnson Love the Focus RS they look sweet but it's not that fast as standard mate. They don't even pull away from me in my lightly n/a tuned Integra Type R coz the power/weight is the same lol. I don't rate my Integra as a fast car either.......

nash6504 Dude you're looking at things in a very simple minded paper vs paper way and your stats are way off especially with the power/weight calculations. In real life it's not like that. Other factors also come into play such as gearing which is far superior on the Integra. I'm talking about the DC5, mine's n/a tuned running around 240bhp weighing roughly 1.15 tonnes (reduced from the stock weigh of 1.18 tonnes due to some of my mods saving weight). You do the maths, that's almost 210bhp/tonne. The mk2 RS weighs 1.468 tonnes with 301bhp, that's around 205bhp/tonne. They're not fast for me, they just have much more torque meaning they don't need to be ragged the shit out of to make them move whereas my car has fuck all torque being a 4 pot n/a in comparison. Throw some bends in too and the RS will be minced meat it couldn't dream to handle like the Integra

Killswitch1991 Mate, I like Type-R(s) but no matter what, even the simplest example of Top Gear test track show, that the so called "worse handling" RS beats all 3 Type-R that were there (2004, 2007 and don't remember the third one, check on track lap times) by 3+ secs. The RS 500 even on wet beats them all (all Type-R on dry). So no idea where you get your ideas or who did you run against, but your logic that the RS can't handle is completely false, if Ford is known about anything, it's suspension. I know that the Ring is not loved as example, but 8:26 vs 8:43 for the RS vs the Integra speaks for itself. No biggies of course, anyone shall drive what he likes. Just had that urge to correct your info on the RS handling :)

German cars dont really hold there value well here in the states..in fact they depreciate rather quickly, i love german cars but man when they break get ready to use your retirement money to fix there issues. And theyre allwwaayyss breaking. Not saying Ford is better for reliability but if you want to talk about the best 4 doors in history im pretty sure even an STI will stomp out an E39 M5. and a Mercedes S55 AMG Kompressor would compete with an E39 as well

***** RS and RS500 has different internal engine parts and produce more power, it also has an electronic diff and fords revoknuckles (A technology that has great effects on understeer and torque steer) RS, also has better suspension and a wider track, as you can see the RS is a wide body. ST's don't have any of that, there are much more difference but those are some of the major ones. The 2.5L Volvo engine in both the ST and RS has great tuning abilities but 5 cylinder engines have limits of imbalance that potentially restrict the amount of useful HP you can produce
