The ball dropping sections in the tower of execution were impossible to see back then with old composite video and old displays, if you were lucky enough to have an s-video input on your tv and a cable you could see but the majority of us had to time our jumps in the interval when it the rings were free of magma.

what difficulty are you playing on? is there a guide for Dracula Ultimate? or just tips and tricks in general? i cant seem to catch a break when it comes to his attacks the uppercut in particular are you cancelling his attack? or is that just a tight window of opportunity to get your hit in before he gets his?

@@BeholdMyStrength getting back into this game ATM, but that GD uppercut Dracula Ultimate does still haunts me ive never made it through that last battle anywhere near flawless just accepted that i was gonna get hit so i maxed out on the meats

Does HiRes mode affect the run or is there two categories for low res? I always hear hi res slows the game down

nice👍✨ I would like to ask you to play Reinhardt from castlevania64 Legacy of Darkness without recovery items. Or, I would like you to try and see if you can clear the game while Reinhardt's health is red. Failure plays are also interesting, so please release the video as is without cutting.

Hey man Im trying to figure out carries orb spam trick where you can instant fire full charge orbs but I cnat seem to get it quite right. Is it specific to a version or am I missing an input or something. Idk but your help would be unimaginally appreciated. Nice speedrun and keep up the good work

It is a very tricky thing to find and even harder to have done consistently. Roughly 13 frames into her orb charge (right around when the orb reaches all around her hand) is when u fire the orb and it will be fully charged. I believe it works on all versions of the game.

Oh sorry. I didnt see which video this was. It is not a thing in Legacy of Darkness. It only works in the original CV64

@@ty2358 thats odd I was watching a gdq of this run and they were using it. But they were playing on the PAL version so maybe that had something to do with it. But either way I definately appreciate the reply. Thank you kind sir

This was the Castlevania game to have when it came out, I bought a copy of this and then went back and got the original. It’s garnered a reputation as being a bad game in recent times but I feel like it plays like the vast majority of n64 titles. Shadows of the empire plays much worse and it’s looked at as one of the best games. Nobody knew anything about sotn back then, it was panned at the time and lod and 64 promoted by the magazines.

Cornell's classic outfit is so much better. Didn't like the redesign in LoD I VASTLY prefer the CV64 Concept Art costume Also for Reinhardt and Carrie. Just look better to me
