Wow!!!! I have been in deep contemplation and have attempted to engage in discussions about how if I don’t want to be part of a world that wars, how can I create peace within my own life, and with people who have triggered adversity for me?!! I think about this multiple times and day and get tripped up in the HOW?! Aside from sending out intentions/prayers Of love and forgiveness, what other practical actions can we do to transmute and practice? I can logically understand the send out love wishes but my body physiology still has a visceral reaction to feeling hurt, betrayed, etc. I know it’s preplanned for the greatest good and for growth, but how do we really KNOW this to the point that it won’t evoke those emotions-which create vibration-which is the real energy we are projecting. I hope y’all discuss this in part 3!

Heidi I don’t have the answers but here are my thoughts. As humans with egos I think it is really hard not to be hurt and affected by others. I think we try our best and with practice it may be easier but some things are hard to move past. I think the ultimate reason we need to move past those hurts is because it frees us when we let go. As far as the bigger events that affect the world I feel we sometimes have to step back from reading about and watching that news to protect ourselves. That doesn’t mean you can’t take steps to change things (vote, donate, pray, love, etc.) but if we emerge ourselves in all of the pain of the world it would crush us. I had a friend who one time said “I can’t believe everyone is not upset and fighting for this”. And I said we can’t all take that on. That is your cause, I may have a different one, someone else may have something else. Why aren’t you worked up about what I am concerned about? It’s because we can’t take on everything as an injustice and we can’t all get worked up about the same thing. There are plenty of problems for us to all focus on different things and help where we can in things close to our hearts.

Thank you. Very insightful! So I do not watch the bad news or engage much at all in the “fight”. I do participate in the legal sixes of keeping herbal medicine safe and available to everyone, despite the lies being told and I believe it has to do with people switching from pharmaceuticals that make a lot of money to herbs that are readily available and much safer. I desire to be part of the solution vs the problem and that’s why I chose to be an educator. But I was thinking about unfortunate experience I had last year with a person who turned out to take advantage and then some…and spread misinformation about me in the process. I can imagine our souls having agreed pre-incarnation, that we would create triggers for each other as a learning and growth opportunity. I know it’s all for the greatest good. But then in the regular day to day I still feel hurt, betrayed and even anxious to trust others which is the opposite effect. Taking positions of right and wrong-AND that is exactly the same energy that perpetuates war on our planet. Maybe this is a question you could ask a future guest?

I completely relate with the bliss one feels when she or he can empathize with someone who hurt them. They did what they did as a protection strategy… I may not agree that we “chose” this path, but as the Bible declares, don’t be alarmed when trials and tribulations come and they can be used for our ultimate good.
