Hi Lynn, Now I know I’m not crazy. I thought I was the only person that washes out their garbage pail. I just did mine this morning before I even watched your video. My neighbors were passing by looking at me like what the heck is she doing but I just couldn’t take it. Last week I forgot to put out the trash so it’s been stinky for 2 weeks. I felt so much better when it was done. 😊 It’s the little things that keep us calm and comfortable. You go girl. You are doing an awesome job. ❤

I know what you're talking about... I recently had tobreplace one that was broken and boy, does it make a difference! The former owners didn't take care of it and it always smelled really bad, like something died in there a while ago. Now it is clean and call me crazy, it is a pleasure to use!

Annie Sloan has a very nice paint and order blocking products. Our favorites are boss odor blocker, orange grove wax, and Silk paint. We wash everything with hot soapy vinegar water to clean it and then use the products that are best for the project. The paints touch up beautifully, cover beautifully, and wear great. I have done a few pieces including a bedroom set for our daughter and everything has turned out fabulous.

I had a horrible ant problem for months and months at my house and it seemed like every week we found them in different places in our home. We ordered Amdro ant block/ant killer and that same day I kid you not... we stopped see them. Like everywhere! Also for your bathroom please get some Zep grout cleaner and brightener. Works wonders no need to scrub hard at all. I tried to message you on IG but it was waiting for you to approve it. Hope it helps!

Happy Thursday Lynn!! I’m so excited for you getting new cabinets countertops and sink!! Yay! We sat around our table as a family when we were all at home. Our home was not filled with love or positivity unfortunately. My husband grew up the same way 😢 But, we sat around the table as a family when our kids were home and I made 100percent sure my kids felt the love, that we cared about their day, and we were filled with positivity. I’d love to get the shower tool! I am surprised it’s that cheap!! I hope you all have a great weekend ❤❤❤ If I could ask for prayers for my dad, I would greatly appreciate it. He has been diagnosed with non small cell carcinoma in his lungs. It has been let go for far too long. I have that spin scrubber with the telescoping handle, also from Amazon, and I love it! My back and knees can't handle kneeling on the floor to scrub the bathtub anymore, and this gadget has really helped me out with that task. I have also used the different brush heads for knocking dust off my baseboards and the return air vent on my central AC.

Hello Lynn! I wanted to share a little tip! I use toilet bowl cleaner in my tub/shower. Works SO GREAT! My favorite is SnoBowl but also like Lysol with Bleach. We live in the country in Indiana and have well water loaded with iron. Hope this helps if you try it ❤

Try a little sugar, borax and water, make a paste, put in small disposable container, size of a bottle cap, leave, when it’s full of ants leave til all the ants are gone. This works for regular ants in PA, I’ve found great success with this, good luck.😊

Baking soda with water into a paste will kick the crap out of a dirty oven. Put it inside, let it sit for a few hours with the door cracked. If you have a stubborn spot of dirt, put the same mixture down and put plastic wrap on top. It will keep the product activated longer. 🙌

I think Jamie from Jamie's journey has the same window cleaner and I'm pretty positive that I've seen her use it in her shower as well on the shower doors so therefore I think you can scrub your windows even if you wanted to use Dawn power wash and a scrub brush and then use the squeegee thing it will suck the suds and everything and dry at once. I really want to get one of those long ones though because my back kills me when I clean my shower.

I read that you can mix borax and sugar put it in a dish and the ants bring it back to the nest and it kills the colony. I m in the process of it now and have seen a decrease in the ants in just 3 days. I think it takes a week or two and yes baking soda and dish detergent is the best! I use it on my tubs .

I had ants recently. They were going after my cat’s food. I had a pest control company come in and he said that depending on the life cycle of the ants they will seek out certain foods. Sometimes sugar other times protein. He put down a gel to attract them that had protein in it- and whatever substance to kill the ants and now my ants are gone. So depending on what your ants are going after may help determine what to use to get rid of them.

Lynne bugs don’t like citrus 🍊 cleaning scents. I’ve been using lemon 🍋 and don’t have any plus keep fruits in the fridge apart from bananas 🍌. That helps with fruit flies 🪰. I cleaned a ladies house and she had fruit on the counter tops and so many bugs and spiders. I only went to her house once took four hours to clean and it was going to be the same again because she and her husband didn’t clean up properly. I’m no one’s slave. Big houses need a lot of looking after not once a week like hers. You’re doing great in your new home.

Dawn dishwasher liquid. When we had ants, I found their entering spot, put some down Dawn and spread it along that area with my finger. No more issues.
