Barcia is always a tough guy on the bike, but when it comes down to a fight off the bike he always backs down.
@carlstanton25502 жыл бұрын
Barcia can hold his own off the bike, the difference is that off the bike fighting Is penalised alot heavier than rubbing plastic and banging bars. Off the bike behaviour is also harder to recover from in the public eye.
@goldsbym2 жыл бұрын
@@carlstanton2550 I have never seen Barcia in a fight. I have seen him threatened off the bike, but he has never engaged the person. Is there a video of him fighting that you know of? It would be interesting to see. Also I don't think Barcia really cares about his "be a good guy" reputation that much. If he did he would not crash other riders every chance he gets. So I don't think that him getting penalized has anything to do with him not fighting. Lol.
@carlstanton25502 жыл бұрын
@@goldsbym it's not so much barcia caring,more his sponsors.if he was known to be scrapping off the bike,and it was made public,chances are he'd be dropped by people.theres not a video that I've seen,I'm going off what I've been told by people in the industry (mechanics,a team owner,an engine tech for one of the factory teams,and a media guy) I'm not saying he'd kick everyone's ass,just that he can hold his own when it comes to it. To be honest,I don't get all the hate for aggressive passes,what barcia and a few of the others do occasionally these days,would have been pretty standard stuff back in the 80's and 90's,heck even the early 2000's had a few aggressive riders.banging bars and rubbing plastic was always a part of Mx, it's a tough sport.
@goldsbym2 жыл бұрын
@@carlstanton2550 I agree with you on the rough riding. I have no problem with aggressive riding at all. I raced back in the late 80's and early 90's. Racing was way more aggressive back then. Now I don't agree with deliberately taking another rider out or cross jumping. But my comment was Barcia is he is always fighting while on his bike but he always backs down when face to face with a fight. I'm surprised he has never been caught on camera fighting, considering as many times as he has taken another rider out during a race. And considering how many riders are pissed off at him after a race.
