Great ride but Tomac still wasn’t at the top of his game like the previous year he and Sexton had one of the best MX seasons ever. But as far as answering a question about American riders on European soil, I thought RC, Stewart and many others answered that long ago? Even with likes of RC beating 4 strokes on his Honda CR 250 2-stroke. Great riders are great riders, regardless of their country.

Yeah that season when tomac and sexton battled outdoors was quality.. the racing they both showed was insane at times!! Has to be one of the best ama outdoors seasons ever! Yeah Americans have definitely come over and rode amazing and won in Europe before.. I kinda wanted to tie the question in and link if with people saying tomac hasn’t and couldn’t ride on a European track against herlings and the rest, in that debate people would always say tomac won’t go to Europe and race because Americans can’t ride European tracks 👊🏻

Yes and even further back the 1986 MXdN teen USA embarrassed the world. Johnny O’Mara, Ricky Johnson and David Bailey laid such a beating on them it was unbelievable, Johnny O’Mara riding a production CR125 caught passed and pulled away from David Thorp on a full factory CR500 on a track that rewards horsepower, they all won. And don’t forget about Danny Magoo Chandler, winning every single moto at his MXdN
