I took a workshop with Kanella last August and it was excellent. In just a short time she taught us the little tricks of doing a great Dutch pour, including which order is best for placing your colours on your canvas - it does make a difference! We had a lot of fun, too. It was the first thing I left home for during Covid other than for groceries and other necessities. So glad I did!

Once again - a miraculous outcome for an unexpected set of color choices! Something about this blow out in particular...this notion could be present in lots of your work - but THIS ONE tells a story of depth in the lighter, almost pastel petals, and then it flows to the depths in the deeper colors. It feels like you took a basketball sized geode, threw it down, broken open to yield a liquid presentation of it's gems and crystals flowing out from it. I cannot get over the 'earthy' and 'gemmy' composition - GORGEOUS!! You should sign this one on the front girl - wow!💙💜💚💛
