Why have you got the pick upside down? I have a lishi HU100 and Vauxhall Astra door lock and ignition on the bench and i cant seem to pick the door lock. Do i need it upside down for the door lock for some reason?

There’s no such thing as upside down on a double sided. Key or Lishi. I have that way because I’m right handed and turning it counter clockwise.

They’re probably knock offs. I don’t know who makes them but the only places that sell original Lishi are the authorized dealers. Everything else is copies. Original Lishi makes a new tool and then a bunch of companies copy them

@@BoredLockpicker That's A Shame. I'm Only Asking Because My Son Has Found An Interest In Lock Picking. I Told Him I'd Buy Him Another Set Of Tools, For Cars, If He Found One That Fit. But From The Distributors I Need A Business License. Other Sites Also Have Them For Half The Price. Was Just Curious If They Worked The Same Or Not At All.

If I had to guess I would guess they probably do but I have a relationship with Lishi and support them. They’re the only ones making new tools for us locksmiths. All the other companies just copy them.

I have difficulty using lishi at car door. I wanna try it how you do it with tool inserted “upside down” although it’s not upside down. But how are you able to see the pick readings while standing in that position? I’m sitting down on a chair I take with me cuz I have a bad back and can’t squat or kneel at car. So I am trying to be facing the lishi where as I probably should be faceing the actual door and lock straight on but it feels when I do that, I have no control on my fingers picking the lock. Sounds weird hope you get what I’m saying

I got some back issues too. I’m right handed so when I pick counter clock wise the reading panel is facing the rear of the car and I can stand and pick no issues. If I’m picking clockwise the reading panel is facing the front of the car and I sit on a stool to pick.

@@BoredLockpicker gotcha I’m gunna try picking it where it’s facing the rear and I’ll stand facing directly at door window and hunch over slightly to see it. I like sitting but the feedback on pick is weird

I know this is an old video, but would the hu100 10 cut LISHI open all the locks an hu100 8 cut LISHI open? Just have 2 slots open? I just bought the the 10 cut and hope to save money and not have to buy the 8 cut.

If I was only going to buy one I would buy the 8 cut. But you should have both. Unlock one car and they’re both paid for.

well I have 43 of them. 6 cost $120 a piece. the rest cost about $55 a piece. and I'm always adding more as I run into things and need them.

SUNCOAST PICKER no idea on the warranty. If ever broke one I’d just replace it. Hasn’t happened yet. Also I just got a new one. So 44 now lol

yea. pretty much all the lishis set or come very close to setting the widest wafers. the jeeps still use the CY24 keyway . ive done videos picking them with the lishi.
