44871 & 45407 Turn on the Style on Day 7 of the Great Britain XVI 19/4/24.

LMS 44871 & 45407 would start Day 7 of the Great Britain XVI from Edinburgh Waverley to Liverpool Lime St via Beattock with SR 34067 Tangmere taking over at Carlisle to take the tour onwards to Liverpool . We see 44871 & 45407 in the loop at Abington and then departing with steam to Spare . The next shot is about half a mile further south as the pair get into their stride . Shortly after leaving Lockerbie the two fives are seen working hard near Cleuchside and Breckonhill . Scotland was left behind us as we then moved to Clifton and Hackthorpe to capture 34067 Tangmere at speed just as the sun came out . One last shot at the end of the video sees the two fives heading for Carnforth again filmed at Hackthorpe. Thanks to Nige for the company and the laughs today. Great location filming Steve, makes a nice change from the usual haunts as much as they are always appreciated. Abingdon Loop is a great spot, (once you find it) so is around Lockerbie, thanks for taking the time and effort, I am sure it's appreciated by all.😁😁🙌🙌🙌
