Hello. Tangmere is a very popular engine these days. I was reading a book about engines in the north of England. It was on about the black 5 and there was 18.000 built. A friend collects railway Books. He's been collecting them since the 1950s. It would take a life time to read it all.

Funny you mention this. If you look a bit more closely at the train, there are 3 non CDL fitted mk1s in there. Granted, one is for the support coach, but the one on the rear is just a normal compartment TSO/SO, and the buffet car is also a MK1...
