Hi my name is Phil.I did 50 yrs on the footplate i started at Edgeley shed in 1961 and I fired this locomotive we had44781 at our shed I did 2yrs at Trafford park and back to Edgeley. I finished my time out at Longsight in 2011 Regards Phil.

Thank you John! Yea it was a bloody wet and busy day! The conditions made filming hard at times with the dull visibility. Superb performance by the loco and a smile from our mate too :)

certainly been one of my favourite outings despite the complications mate! Shustoke was a very very close call let me tell you! I got soaked through all day
