great video Tom, really enjoyed it. I'm probably not telling you anything new but a tip that was shown to me was to put some decadent balls from pill containers in your decadent powder, it gives the fly a real shake up when shaked then ! Keep up the great work mate

Just came across your channel and appreciate all the knowledge and experience that you share. Picked up fly fishing 9 months ago and haven’t looked back, was able to target trout for the first time down in NSW a couple weeks ago and will be heading back in another week…definitely taking some of these pointers for my next trip. Thanks again!

Love those Victorian rivers. We bought a wide selection of Tom's flies from Flylife, definitely good gear. Beautifully tied and a quality presentation. Definitely recommended. And who doesn't want more flies?🙂 Cheers PP

I always enjoy your videos Tom! So many of those smaller rivers look like prime water for tenkara. Getting drag free drifts in those tricky currents with no line on the water would be a breeze. Australia looks like an amazing place thank you for sharing.

Another ripper video Tom. About the only bit of gear you don’t list are the tippet rings. What brand do you prefer. I have some that just slice the Tippett. Always the weak point. I have started using the triple surgeons with a tag that you have shown before. But I do like the tippet ring. And advice appreciated.

Why not try a light (3 weight) fiberglass or bamboo rod (around 7 - 7.6ft) for this bush ridden streams? Should be a blast on such a rod

Tom can I ask what your using to dry the CDC ? It looks like a line straightener but what’s on the inside.

Amadou. A fungus material that absorbs moisture. Loon make a similar patch to the one he was using.
