Important note on Gyarados (as of 1:51:05 you’re still mad at its discards) - it does NOT say “discard 1 energy from a random pokemon”, which is why you keep losing the supposed 50/50s. It says “discard 1 random ENERGY from among the energy attached to all pokemon” If you have 4 energy on Gyarados and 1 on Koffing, it’s not a 50/50 if it’s discarding yours or its. There’s an 80% chance it comes from Gyarados. Note - I’m not sure if it can pull from a pokemon as it’s getting knocked out, I haven’t played it I don’t own it EDIT: you figured it out literally two seconds later lmao it’s not written wrong you were just reading it wrong
