Yes, the filler performs a pre-fill purge.

@@xpressfillsystemsllc what the difference in using co2 to purge a can of oxygen vs liquid nitrogen after the cans already been filled. Are they both only to provide can reinforcement once the kid is seamed by removing oxygen that will condense once the can is refrigerated?

@@THORFANG Purging with CO2 reduces the oxygen in the can to prevent oxidation. It does nothing to reinforce the can. The CO2 in the beer creates the pressure to firm the can. Liquid nitrogen if used appropriately can reduce oxygen and firm the can.
