These Lishi 2in1 tools still shock me with their ease of use.
While I am still learning how to decode the Honda lock and make a test key that works at least I can show how easy it works to open the lock.
These are great tools if used correctly and legally.
Please NEVER touch a lock in use that you don't have the right to open.
Anyone interested in this tool can find the link below and remember to use coupon code albert at checkout for 6% off which is good until Feb 23 of 2023.

Thanks for checking it out. The lock pick mall is not my store and I am not being paid to promote their products. I accept no responsibility for any issues between you and them. I'm simply a messenger.

Great video buddy! Those Lishi picks are something else, very simple in theory, but also so very effective! Really like how they worked out the test key function. Thanks as always Big Al! 👍👍

Love this video! I have a few lishi tools, mostly the residential and padlock tools! I had been wondering what the key shaped things were when I've looked at some of the auto locksmith tools and now I know! Thank you for some much needed knowledge as I'm trying to learn auto locksmithing keys and programming!

Thanks Steven, Yes, I am still learning about them myself. I have made a lot of progress so stay tuned. I figured out how to decode this one and make a test key that work like a dream. I will put a video together showing how I did it all soon as I can. It's quite complicated so I need to figure out how to best do it without losing people half way through. 😁

@@AlbertLebel I find it complicated myself, many times, when using these tools! I'm still going to start purchasing a few of these every month, starting with the most popular cars in this area and maybe we can swap info on what we learn! You're a great guy, great mentor and a true friend to me. I was touched by your kind words of encouragement while I was in the hospital! Thank you for being a really good person and friend

Ya they are absolutely fantastic. Stay tuned for decoding and making of a working key. I got it worked out. Pretty complicated but if I can do it, so can most

Hon66 has to be picked 3 times. You have to pick once and it turns halfway then you pick again for the full turn. Then you have to pick it back to the start position. So you did this one wrong. But if it was any other lishi you would have been done.

I'm thinking maybe to unlock a vehicle you would have to pick it three times... But if you only wanted to decode it, couldn't you just pick it and only turn a tiny bit so it doesn't click into that first position, then decode it and turn it back and you only had to pick once... The lock wouldn't be unlocked, if it was locked, but you would have the code to make a key any way. Certainly I can be mistaken because I'm just trying to figure all this out myself, but is what I'm thinking correct. I mean it seems like that's basically what he did in the video.... He wasn't trying to unlock a door, he was just trying to decode it.... Does that make sense..?

Yes, I believe you’re correct. Because once it’s decoded you can make a working key that would turn the cylinder without re-locking itself. When we pick a lock, we can’t hold all the pins/wafers etc. at the same time. But a key does.

@@gb7886 so on this one it's different then other lishis. You pick it once it turns only halfway. Then you pick it again and it turns all the way at this point you decode it. Then the lishi will be stuck. You have to pick it back one more time back to home to remove the lishi. This is just on hon66. Other lishis you pick it and it turns all the way over at that point you decode and you can just turn it back and remove like normal.

@@AlbertLebel if you noticed when you picked it. The lock did not turn all the way. It gets picked twice on this one that will open lock. Then you decode and to make matter worse you have to pick it backward 1 more time to get it back to the middle position then you can remove Lishi. Hon66 is different watch a video from bored lock picker or I could make a video.

Many thanks, quite pricey you would have to be in the Auto business to justify buying one for each popular make of car, I remember the old Ford keys, A round bar with little nobs sticking out ,far harder to pick.

Yes they are. I actually a test key and it works. Just have to play with it a bit longer and figure out the best way to show and tell. Since that lock I used is a door lock, I just ordered an ignition lock to better show off the process. Cool thing is, since the test keys are split sections, I was able to use the Lishi key cutter to make it. Lishi covers all the bases
