This sounds like one of those playground rumors. "Oh yeah you gotta stand in the right spot here and then throw a koopa shell and then you do spin jump and that's how you unlock luigi", You have to be at this specific spot or it won't work".

DoomRater how?
@DoomRater
@DoomRater 6 жыл бұрын
The way this glitch works is it triggers a jump to unstable RAM. If things aren't set up close to 100% perfectly the code will run into unstable commands or jump to places where it will just get stuck. Hence "drive away clueless".

"The original machine had a base plate of prefabulated amulite, surmounted by a malleable logarithmic casing in such a way that the two main spurving bearings were in a direct line with the panametric fan. The latter consisted simply of six hydrocoptic marzlevanes, so fitted to the ambifacient lunar waneshaft that side fumbling was effectively prevented. The main winding was of the normal lotus-o-deltoid type placed in panendermic semi-boloid slots in the stator, every seventh conductor being connected by a nonreversible tremmie pipe to the differential girdlespring on the "up" end of the grammeters."

For a rough idea dotsarecool has a good video explaining the old route called "Super Mario World Credits Warp Explained". Allot of the video is still relevant e.g. explaining the open bus. But... if you really want to have a really good idea, you'd probably want to first start out by getting familiar with coding in assembly languages. You could start out by downloading 32bit "Microsoft Assembler (MASM)" and following some tutorials and later writing your own programs. You should also be able to find lectures on assembly on KZbin. From there, by googling "65c816 Reference" you can find the instruction set for the snes. And then, googling "SMW Central - RAM Map", you'll find a handy table with comments for what every memory address in RAM of SMW is responsible for. After that you'll probably still need to research further into whatever parts you're still unsure on that just look like black magic e.g. The open bus.

Interesting! I really liked the way you showed the processor's memory, I wonder what it would look like if you made the same visualizer, but for a modern-day computer? The image may end up just looking like random noise or even a big grey image, but it would be neat to see any patterns that emerge due to the way computers work. Of course, if someone were to do this, they should make it an offline program, because showing such an image on a KZbin video could lead to privacy leaks and possibly even accidental piracy and copyright issues.

This is exactly how a glitch in the matrix works. No seriously, THIS was always the wizardry that I thought might be possible in a game, but never be able to replicate.
