Great lock! I’ve wondered about the H&H pick for a while, cool to see it in action! Nice picking as always!

Thanks 😊 i Was never aware that this pick is a popular pick/brand, i had never seen this in use. I just stumbled upon it on eBay. Is it still available somewhere? From how it looked I would have guessed its not produced/sold anymore...

Tiniest neo magnets I've ever seen, and quite ingenious to use them for a spacer. First time I've seen a DD rear tension tool or lock- awesome!
@LockFumbler2 жыл бұрын
Hehe yeah they are really tiny 😊 If I would have used them off center i would not needed that many, but was fun to just stack them like this 😆 Thanks for watching 👋

Great idea with the magnets. Having issues with a burg wachter 480 70. It's a DD padlock & the key has like a ward cut in to it. I will have to make a video of Q&A's and I have a few Questions about it. Thanks for listening 👍😜

Thanks 😄 Hmm i have never seen the model 480 70 from Burg Wächter. Do a video on it! Maybe i can help out from looking at it 🤷♂

Excellent picking. I haven't seen one of those locks picked before. Great idea with the magnets.

Thanks 😄 I could get it quite cheap, so i thought to give it a try 🙃

Great picking!!! Cool idea using magnets to fill the space at the back!!! 🐈⬛🐾🐈🐾👏👏👏👏
@LockFumbler2 жыл бұрын
Thanks 😄 Yes it really helps me since i always slipped off when not using them. I found out that i neede to stack so many because here is a hole in the center, and i could put less magnets when not putting them in the center, but off to the side. Left it in the middle for the video though, just for the fun of it ;)

EXCELLENT VIDEO... What is the exact thickness of each magnet? I have the tool on the way, the TREK bike with this lock has been dropped off for opening and key making. I have machines that can cut the key, if tool will decode it. Once successful, will post this with Trek user sites, as I do make tons of ebike keys already.
@LockFumbler5 ай бұрын
Thanks 🙏 I just measured one of these, and they are 1mm thick. Just keep in mind that there is a hole in the middle of the lock housing. If you put the magnets off center, you will need significantly less magnets 😅 work just as fine as in the middle 👍 Good luck picking and making a key 👍👍 Thanks for watching and commenting 👋

@@LockFumbler UPDATE: Trek Bike with this same lock integrated in the side-mount battery pack.... I failed with the H&H Pick, and 3 other disc detainer tools. Spent hours on it. UGH! I need to get an assortment of Abus locks, and practice in a vice first.

@citylockapolytechnikeyllcc7936 oh noo, too bad to hear, but yeah, they are not trivial to get open. Good luck in proceeding further 🤞

Would this lock open with a 12mm drill? It's cheaper just to replace the whole thing once you get it out...
@LockFumbler Жыл бұрын
Hehe I don't know 🤔 if you destroy all the wafers and the sidebar can move towards the center probably yes. Or you drill out the sidebar 🤔 not sure.... I do not have much experience with destructive attacks... i just know how the lock works in detail. Also checkout my video [41] where I take apart a similar model (at least the core is similar) if you want to learn more about the internals 👍
@alotlater1905 Жыл бұрын
@@LockFumblerjust watched the other one. Yes, very useful perspective. I might try to drill the actual sidebar as you recommend.

@Lockfumbler I have shimano steps battery fitted to my e-bike with ABUS or AXA lock fitted to the battery, unfortunately I have lost the keys to my battery so I cannot charge my spare battery, is this the only technique to lock pick open the ABUS or AXA e-bike battery lock please because that pick looks expensive, great video thankyou in advance. I just want to mention maybe my battery lock maybe AXA and not ABUS because the quality on that ABUS looks much better than my lock.
@LockFumbler2 жыл бұрын
Sorry, no idea which lock is fitted to your battery, plus it is not foreseen to pick locks in use nor give tips on picking locks in use. But i highly advice you to visit a lock smith. They usually are super nice and if you can take the lock that you want to be serviced to their shop, i guess it will not be really expensive. Maybe they can even make you a new key.

I bought mine second hand, maybe you can also find it somewhere like this. Search for "abus granit pick". Here is a link to a retailer I found after quick Google search: german.lockpickable.com/products/hh-abus-granit-pick-and-decoder?shpxid=fd6c7465-cacd-4b29-ba22-251d79e27ba5 I hope that helps ✌️

Oh no 🙈 are you sure you have turned the key as far counterclockwise as possible? As soon as you turn it a little bit clockwise, the discs in this lock will grab the key and prevent it from releasing.
