One of the most complex songs in Rockdom, and these kids absolutely slayed it.

tyvm for playing my request. i think when this was recorded, and they were all most likely minors, the academy choose to not publish the names and protect the identity of students. there are many videos from OMF but the band lineups are never quite the same. they also always tend to lean towards heavier music that the kids appear to be totally obsessed with. when i was 15, in '65, i joined a 4-piece HS rock band. i had been playing upright bass in the school orchestra for a few years. so i can relate to these young musicians, especially the bassist, and vocalist Kala Rose. the little kid with the sticks of course grows older and there is a video of him playing the drums that is priceless. its just good to know that there are parents out there, and teachers, who are keeping rock and roll alive for future generations. on another note, your channel seems to be blossoming quickly. this is my 2nd request and it was made not to long after my first request. yet it took a very long time to come up in schedule compared to the first one. so, congratulations to you for having too many videos to react to. again, thanks for posting. ☮❤🙏

Go to the O’Keefe music foundation page and you can see a very young Kayla Rose singing Aretha Franklin and I can’t remember the name of it but another beautiful song that I think it’s better than the original. You’ll know it when you see it check it out she has an amazing voice.

I’ve been watching the Okeefe Music Foundation Covers for a few years now. They slay every cover and some I just return to listen to on repeat. The little girl K8TE that covers “Becoming” by Pantera’s is Ridiculously Amazing. These kids are Rock Stars 🌟🎸. Thank you for reacting to OMF. See you on the next one ☝🏽.

The Drummer guy apparently was the one who suggested they should do this song. Clearly a big fan of Tool and I bet he had a blast on the drums!
@Mr.Ekshin3 ай бұрын
Yeah, you need a serious drummer and bassist to even begin to cover this. Everything else, you can get away with lesser musicians, but without that serious rhythm section, this song would turn into a mess.

no one learns this straight through. even the most accomplished players have to take it in sections/transitions etc.
