Okay, here we go, the lead singer is Kala Rose (Scarpinski). She has done 6 videos for O'Keefe that I know of. In order of her age from youngest, Cosmic Love by Florence and the Machine, Pull Me Under by Dream Theater, 46 & 2 by Tool, Sober by Tool, The Pot by Tool(version 2)(They did 5 versions in 5 styles with 5 groups of kids) and Crazy Horse by Black Label Society, after which she aged out of the program. She is now the lead singer of the band Saving Escape out of Cincinnati. In her band she has taken on, in my opinion, a Janis Joplin-esque style, very old school, hippie rock. She's definitely got an old soul, which just so happens to be the name of their first album. :-) Both Kala and the band itself have KZbin channels where you can find their music.

The o‘Keefe Music Foundation should also be mentioned in praise. A non-profit organization from Ohio that gives talented and willing people under the age of 18 the opportunity to realize their dream. In the music summer camps, the children and adolescents receive a highly professional training including loan of the instruments and access to sound and video studios "completely free of charge". This gives children and young people from all social classes the chance. This NGO is only financed through donations and merchandising.

5:02 - Drunvalo Melchizedek has some interesting thoughts on the subject. It's that we're at the uncomfortable place between two steps in our evolution, where the older bloodline with 44 (22 pairs) exists without the internal chatter and separation of the ego we have, and that we will complete our journey at 48 (46 and 2) in a more evolved and integrated place. It's that integrity and integration that is the core of the song, as we are working through our Shadow content (all of Self not currently known or acceptable to the Persona/Ego). We have the work in front of us, and we have to face our own darkness to make it through. "I wanna feel the changes coming down, I want to know what *I've been hiding* in my *Shadow*". That's the ownership. 5:33 - You did very well, you got the core ideas especially in terms of the Jungian side of things. 6:56 - The drum kid and the bass kid have such a solid lock that I would expect to see them heading to Polyphia-like talent. 10:22 - Kala's journey with the O'Keefe Music Foundation has been impressive to watch. I think the choice of where she had the higher register and a breathy floaty sound on the first (Light) stanza of choices dropping into that more powerful place on the second stanza of choices (Dark) was spot on perfect. I choose to live and to grow Take and give and to move Learn and love and to cry Kill and die and to be Paranoid and to lie Hate and fear and to do What it takes to move through I choose to live and to lie Kill and give and to die Learn and love and to do What it takes to step through I split them out into the light and dark as the rearrangement moves into more Shadow-feeling juxtapositions.
