Can we get more information on both vehicles please. Is the m4 with the competition package modified? Did both cars have traction control off? I find it hard to believe that the m4cs with a 40lb/ft advantage only pull away just that tiny bit. Can someone who knows please give me more info on this? Thanks.

If you buy your M4 CS on the base of ONE comparison video, then I am a bit sorry for you. Have a look into german car magazines (Sportauto, Autobild Sportscars). I compared. The M4 CS IS measurably faster, but "only" around 0,5 seconds (it varies) from 0 to 200 kph, from which he makes already 0,2 to 0,3 from 0 to 100. It's true that from 100 to 200, the difference isn't big when you pull through gears. But the CS is MUCH stronger "in gear" for example from 80 to 160 kph in 5t gear. The 600 Nm of torque make the difference in every day use. I had 2 M3s, the 431 HP and the M3 Telesto (Competition, see the profile picture) with 450 Hp. Now I have the M4 CS and it is great. You have one of the best engines in the world and you have it with a bonus, with 50 Nm more.. And such cars stand for more than a race in straight line. Btw I think the M4 CS has the advantage, due to torque, when you kickdown at 180 kph for example. But I never tried it...:)

Kaisuke971 right but the experience starts to feel sour when you can't clearly beat a competition package m3 for almost $30000 more. They should have made it a bigger gap in performance between the two cars.
