Whats the maximum recomended moisture content of thr hay.

Dave, thanks for the question. Unless bales are being made for silage or a preservative is being applied to hay, wait until the moisture content of hay is 20% or drier before baling. You can find more information in your Operator's Manual in the "Operating the Baler" section. If needed, many of our Operator's Manuals are available online, so you may be able to view the manual for your model at TechPubs.Deere.com.

I love how they show an aluminum connector for the bale monitor!! What you actually get is a cheap plastic one with the cheapest and easiest to bend roll formed pins that are available. Good baler, JUNK connectors.
