That cab kit reminds me of a radiator we ordered for our 4630. We ordered it from John Deere because we thought we wouldn't have any issues with it. Not one hole lined up on that thing. Dimensions weren't even the same. Was an inch shorter.

You could use the low profile seat base from a Cab over truck. They work wonderful in Cat front end loaders.

Its looking awesome, I noticed you got cast 90's on the valve. I found out the hard way they can fail under pressure so if you got machined ones laying around I would defiantly use them.

I bought a cab kit in the States for my old 8640 and it fit perfectly. Only regret is i didn't get headliner . Thought headliner was good until i put the new kit in. Edit...Think it was a Shoup Pro Form Kit

More or less just because thats what a guy can afford. Front wheel assist on a 40 series is only hyd anyways so a mechanical 50 series like a 4450 is almost 20.grand more on The average. 2wd is cheaper to maintain aswell and I have the big versatiles for the real tillage work

For appearance purposes, flange-head bolts is what I would have used in attaching the loader mounts to the tractor.

You need to find a old grinder mixer and take the fenders off and put them on your 4640 we did the same to our 1466 international

As you were talking about that interior, I noticed that the pieces were tan. From factory the 40 series interior was originally black, but the 50 and 55 series was tan. I was just wondering if you ordered the tan color on purpose, or if you accidentally got the wrong cab kit. I agree that the holes should line up a lot better than that, and you should get some money back, but other wise that 4640 is looking very sharp.

4640 looks great. I just put cab kit in my 4440 and no matter where you get it I'm sure none of the holes line up correctly but mine were closer than the one you have. Problem with Deere is the cost. I got mine for less than $300 minus headliner. Out of curiosity is your dad self taught welder and fabricator or he go to school for that? He is very good. Seems like a real nice laid back guy too. I lost my dad this time last year and miss him so much. Enjoy every minute with him! Hope all you guys have a very Merry Christmas!!!
