4714 Gooseberry Falls DayTrip 042

DescriptionTwo guys from New York walking across an bay at the mouth of the Gooseberry River at Gooseberry Falls State Park, northern Minnesota on Lake Superior. The lake is frozen still but the way is slushsy ice with water on top, but probably still over 4 or 5 feet thick ice. Looks like they were having a blast regardless, but a neat shortcut from the other side, total distance maybe 1/2 mile across.
