I think you should sell all the items you are thinking of selling with the exception of the grey Chanel boy and the caramel Chanel 19. At this point Chanel is becoming unapproachable. I would keep both before you regret.

How exactly are you planning to sell them? Are you listing them yourself, or are you using a luxury resale authentication service? My standout favorite is the pink, purple and teal Louis Vuittons, but those just happen to be the colors I’m wearing a lot this spring.

I think you should keep ALL of your Chanel and Louis because they really enhance your collection and are classics which will never go out of style. Just because you aren't using them now doesn't mean you will never use them. Lovely bag collection💗 Your bag room is really stunning😍💗

Awesome video and what an INCREDIBLE collection! You should be so proud of yourself. That's amazing. Regarding the caramel ones, I would keep the Chanel 19 (that's the best one by far and I do think you can use it casually as well). One thing I would strongly suggest (and that's just my two cents) is getting rid of those two Hermes/Kelly dupes ASAP. They don't add any value or joy to your collection. Specially with the "fake Birkin slayer" trend going on at the moment, I wouldn't like keeping anything like that near me. You have truly amazing pieces and I love following your journey. Love your collection! All the caramel bags are beautiful. I’d keep the Chanel 19 and the Chloe tote. I seen them as casual bags but the Chanel 19 is a fancy statement “casual” bag. It’s the most casual among the Chanel bags for sure.

I LOVE your display set up, that is so nice. I would get rid of the caramel velvet YSL and the Mulberry too--just keep the Chloe and the Chanel. Chanel caramel is just the bomb. Keeping those two gives you casual and dressy in that shade.

The YSL tote is a smart choice to let go of. I would NOT sell the boy bag! Just my opinion, but I’m holding onto the remainder of my Chanel bags. I think so many price increases and they are actually now investments lol. Great video!

Great video! Tough choices. I agree with others who said the puffy bags will be out, but since you still love them, you should enjoy them another year. Black velvet clutch would be a keeper for me. I knew the bee bag would be out the door 😂 That grey YSL tote is beautiful but if not used it needs a new home. Also the grey Boy Bag. I see a theme with grey… With the Chanel price increases, I personally would not sell the Boy bag this year. Otherwise, on board with your selections.

I would def keep all the Chanels, and the green alexa is soo beautiful. I personally would get rid of all the LV monogram. I've never cared for monogram so a bit bias here lol, but to have the same print on so many bags...nope! :)

I would not get rid of the Chanel boy! I would keep the LV Keepall it’s classic luggage that will become harder to find if they really phase out canvas. Also luggage is something that people just keep even if not used often. You love the Softy and caramel is very versatile so I think it’s fine to have a lot in that color. The caramel is like black neutral and easy to style.

I think the caramel/tan bags all serve a purpose. I love the YSL suede bag- it’s perfect for fall/winter. The chanel is nice & the mulberry would be the one I take if I wanted the look but afraid to take the others out. Idk I feel they all serve a purpose & would keep all of them even though similar in color

I would say sell the YSL gray tote, Prada double bag (I feel like those have been on the chopping block before). I would replace Marc Jacobs green tote with black so it's easier to style. I would sell gray teddy tote, and maybe the Chloe caramel tote (only because you have a lot of bags in that color...but I am on the fence...no keep it lol). I would DEFINITELY keep the gray chanel boy bag and LV keep all. I am thinking about selling my Prada double bag too (it's actually the pink one you used to have!)

I understand the visual appeal but I am intrigued to know if you do really store your expensive handbags on display without their dust bags, or is this just for the purpose of filming? The tweeds, velvets, canvas, paielletes, rhinestone, fabrics, patent, treated and soft calf leathers are so easily subjected to having their surfaces dulled and compromised from dust that I personally would never dream of storing them without their protection, especially if they live on open shelving. It might be interesting to learn from other collectors of handbags on how they store their precious collection; I think it would be a useful video.

All beautiful Steph. I Agree that the caramel mulberry is very similar to the Chanel 19. Since you love caramel and you feel you really use them then I would keep them all because the mulberry is more carefree than the 19. But if you will only use one of the two keep the 19. Keep them all for now while the puffer trend is hot if you enjoy them all. I have 3 Chanel 19s and two of them are the same light grey in two different sizes. They are different to me. I wouldn’t sell any Chanel bag if you’re not 1000% sure because buying it back will be pricey. If you sell the grey boy, you will not have any grey bags in your collection as I see the ysl tote leaving and they are very different types of bags anyway. Unless there is another bag that money is going toward. Or you just don’t love grey. As for the the ysl clutch if you think you will use it, keep it. You said you almost took it to London. Why didn’t you? If you know that it’s been replaced then you can sell it. The black lock me backpack. It is a lock me LV bag but very different than the griege one which is a proper top handle bag. That being soda, you do have quite a few black bags so if you prefer the others then let the back pack go. It just seems like a casual, durable but nice everyday type of bag.

For the caramel bags, I think the suede YSL should go and keep the Chanel, Mulberry and Chloe. Just not liking the feel of that texture. I think it makes the bag less versatile in terms of what to wear it with. Caramel is quite a neutral colour and I find can be worn in any season, but in suede immediately it feels more like a Winter bag.

Instead of approaching it from a 'let one go' point of view, of all your caramel colored bags which one would you swap for a different color that you don't already have? See what your options are then decide. Keep the ysl tote, will come in handy when you have a baby 😉
