I've had high game in 3 different alleys in & around my home town, so I tried a few tournaments, wow, those conditions were murder, & I found out I wasn't diddly squat compared to Brad & Kyle, they're at another level, I'm amazed at their ability to adapt.

For Brad. It was nice to see you under control of your emotions for the most part. I sensed a bit of frustration when you threw it good, but had trouble with carry. My mentor told me once if you would take the shot like it was the 12th strike for a perfect game and it doesn’t strike it’s the bowling gods fault, and if you keep throwing it that good and don’t strike and make a change, then it’s on you. Good luck in Jackson.

I just bowled a 298 yesterday! I’m in 7th grade doing varsity bowling this year for the first time and have been a starter for the past few games. My average is about 190-200. It’s pretty crazy to think about how I’ve started about a year ago and have progressed so much. I have came in 3rd, 4th, and 5th in tournaments and have about $500 in scholarships! Looking back to how I first started compared to now is absolutely crazy!

Should the headline read 56 games, not 48? It was a grind and just making the cut is a victory. Hey, Kyle, why don't you tell us about the third round of qualifying? 1883 for 8 games, coming out of nowhere to just make the cut. What did you do different?

Brad twice had the 2nd highest game out of the 24 and got beat. That 30 points he lost getting a 300 thrown against him cost him one place and $100. Nice he is getting an $80 steak to enjoy. Also, I believe at one point Kyle earned his triplicate patch with three 231s in a row.

@mongeeser25302 жыл бұрын
Does your bowling coach program also work with no thumb 1 handed bowlers, or is there a primary focus on the more traditional bowler?
@ripvanrevs2 жыл бұрын
I was bowling that way in the mid 90s. I also bowled traditional depending on the lanes. The biggest difference is making sure you are getting low enough at the line which requires more quad strength than a traditional shot. I believe most of the basics apply to both styles of bowling.
@mongeeser25302 жыл бұрын
@@ripvanrevs yeah I’ve been bowling that way since I was about 8 and I’m now 27 so it’s been a while and hard to go to thumb bowling. Thanks for the tip though I think I definitely can get lower on my release, so I’ll start putting that to practice!

Who is in charge of the payouts? They are beyond disproportionate. You work your butt off for 5 days, beat the best of the best, and walk away with barely more than if you'd won a regional. 100K sells TV, but I think the other placements should absolutely pay more.

Lack of money is ridiculous in tourneys. Mookie Betts makes more in one at bat than most of these guys make in a week (if they make a cut). WTF?
