I'm getting into your channel! When I'm older I hope to have a channel of my own and visit all over the US camping at NPs and maybe flying and staying in hotels as well. Thanks for info and inspiration, you guys are nice to watch.

I was finally able to catch up to the last four videos, and WOW!! Banff was beyond GORGEOUS!! And so cool to see your adventures so far!! It really makes me appreciate our country more and more to see all these beautiful places! PS: the hot shower alone would have been worth it for me if I didn’t get to shower in a while too lol.

Enjoyed watching this. Thank you. I have to ask about your bikes. I tried to find a video where you talked about what they were but after 15 of them I figured I'd just ask. Are they foldable? Foldable ebikes? Thanks in advance.

There is a campground, closer to gate, with water, power, & dump station that was $ 50 a night 2 years ago. No pool & junk. But who goes to Glacier to stay in camp. They don't have a website. But good sites with trees.

They should give you the site for free with all the free advertisement you gave them. We checked out that campground and decided too expensive. We plan to camp down the road closer to the entrance at Glacier Campground for 50.00 a night on our trip in Sept.

We scouted out Glacier Campground too! Definitely enticed by that price point and close proximity to West Glacier! You’re going to love it. Safe travels!

Man I want this life lol. Saving money now to get started but I think my nerves are more of a problem then finances. But God willing, one day this is the goal!

Sounds like you’re already on the right track with setting the goal and saving money! 🤗 We have definitely had some moments that tested our nerves but I think that kind of comes with the territory of living on the road- every day is different and brings new opportunities to problem solve. 😅 We hope and pray God gives you the desires of your heart. 🙏🏼

No judgement on the campsite as it looks really nice. Not for me, but to each their own. What I don’t get is why you hadn’t showered? I boon dock a lot, and shower almost daily. Might be ‘military showers’, but still hot and refresher. I would recommend getting a 6 g water container to refill with if necessary.
@georgeandcris

Totally agree, Fred! To each their own. And that’s a fair question. 😂 The days leading up to staying at this campground were our first days camping “off grid”. We had no idea how long we could make our fresh water tank last so we decided not to shower in an effort to conserve as much water as possible. Now that we’ve Boondocked a bit more we have a much better understanding of how long we can make our tanks last. We also just purchased a 5g water container along with some gallon water jugs to help with the shower situation. Great suggestion. Thanks for the question! 😆

It has become a pricey spot and much larger than it was back in 2005 - 2010. Did you get a chance to have 'Dinner with Gene'?
@georgeandcris
@georgeandcris 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it does seem they have added quite a few spots and amenities in the past few years. We didn’t get a chance to do dinner with gene! Not sure they still offer that because we didn’t see that on any promotional material. 😕

@@georgeandcris Gene was a retired fellow who spent his whole summer up at the West Glacier KOA. Every night by the big central cabin he would set up charcoil BBQ's and cook up steak and rib dinners. It was the focal point of our visits. We sure do miss it. We now live in Moncton, N.B.

It's not hard to find prices over $100 these days. It's like you are being robbed at kiosk asked to pay tip. Now restaurants asking 20% tip at 20% price hike. I never pay tip more than 15% which is ridiculous to begin with. i truly don't understand why is it so expensive? $150/night. The big part of the camping trip is to save $$$$, this is getting out of hand, ridiculous.
